Description
The dining table and bench were commissioned for one of my first clients, for whom I’ve had the privilege of creating and implementing various designs for over 10 years.
The house was undergoing a thorough renovation, creating new spaces and new needs. I was asked to design a large dining table (280×140 cm) that would complement the atmosphere of the chosen materials.
The table’s design is an extension of my own dining table, with a construction based on mutually absorbing forces, allowing it to remain relatively light. The making process of the construction in the Workshop is always a nice puzzle to solve.
For material I chose a warm oak, which balances the cool, sleek tiled floor and naturally complements the beautiful light forest by Aptumlighting.
